Jay Eisenberg and
Shelby Richardson.
They have been close collaborators in what they call the "passionate business" of friendship since 2017.
After a decade working in mainstream professional theatre, they formalized their collaboration by creating
a trans-led organization that challenges the norms of the industry, and proposes a better alternative.
WAM is the result.
Shelby is a trans/non-binary actor, performance artist, astrologer, and director who lives and works in the Twin Cities. Shelby believes we are meaning-making beings.
They are from a rural town in Northern California.
Shelby guesses that they have a BFA from the University of Minnesota/Guthrie Theater Actor Training Program, though they're not entirely sure the paperwork ever went through.

Jay is an actor, arts educator, writer, and director.
He has been told he is too patient to be from New York, but that is where he is from.
Jay is also a consultant for theatre, film, and tv. If you
think your favorite ABC medical drama has done a fine job with their non-binary doctor storyline, thank Jay.
He holds a BFA from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Experimental Theatre Wing. He has been a member of Actors' Equity Association since 2015.
